SAAB receives a new order for the C-band medium-range locating radar Arthur

Defence and security company Saab has received an order for the Arthur weapon locating system amounting to MSEK 128. Deliveries will take place in 2014. Arthur is a C-band medium-range weapon-locating system that detects and locates enemy artillery fire. The system is used by demanding customers around the world, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK, Greece, Czech Republic, Spain and Italy.
ARTHUR radar utilizes a passive phased-array antenna technology for optimized battlefield performance. The technology provides the perfect balance between mobility, range, accuracy, ECCM, operational availability and operational cost.
