Eurocopter delivers the first Tiger HAD Support and Attack helicopter to the French Army

Eurocopter’s first production Tiger helicopter in the HAD (Hélicoptère d'Appui Destruction in French, or Support and Attack configuration) was delivered to France’s DGA armament procurement agency today for operation by French Army Aviation units, providing a highly capable combat weapon system that is tailored to the world’s evolving battlefield conditions.

Russia May Deploy IL-38 Maritime Patrol Aircraft at French Base in Djibouti

Russia has asked France to allow the deployment of two Ilyushin Il-38 naval reconnaissance planes at a French base in Djibouti to facilitate its anti-piracy missions in the Gulf of Aden, Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said on Wednesday.
