First Krivak IV Frigate (Project 11356) Admiral Grigorovich to Join Russian Navy Next Year

Russia's first Project 11356 frigate, the Admiral Grigorovich, will join the Black Sea Fleet in 2014, Vice-Admiral Alexander Fedotenkov said on Monday. “The newest Project 11356 escort ship, the Admiral Grigorovich, should be launched in 2013 and join the Black Sea Fleet in 2014,” Fedotenkov said.

Yantar Shipyard to start construction on 4th Krivak IV Frigate (Project 11356)

The Russian Navy’s fourth Project 11356 frigate will have its keel laid on Thursday, the Yantar shipyard said on Monday. The start of construction work on the Admiral Butakov frigate was postponed in October 2012. The Kaliningrad-based shipyard is to build a total of six Project 11356 frigates under a contract with the Defense Ministry.

Third Talwar class Frigate (Krivak IV) for Indian Navy Starts Final Trials in Baltic Sea

The last in a series of three frigates that Russia is building for India at the Yantar shipyard in the Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad has started final trials, a shipyard spokesman said on Friday.

India Navy Receives Second Russia-Built Krivak IV Stealth Missile Frigate (Project 1135.6)

The second of three stealth frigates that Russia builds for India at the Yantar Shipyard in Russia’s Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad arrived at the port of Mumbai, an Indian Defense Ministry source said on Sunday.
