Northrop Grumman Building Company-Owned Unmanned Aircraft for US Navy's Triton Program

Northrop Grumman Corporation is building a company-owned unmanned aircraft for use as a development and demonstration platform for at-sea surveillance under the U.S. Navy's MQ-4C Triton program.

U.S. Navy, Northrop Grumman Conducting MQ-4C Triton UAS Ground Testing Prior to First Flight

Northrop Grumman Corporation and the U.S. Navy have added a second Triton unmanned aircraft to ground testing efforts in late September – part of an initial step in preparation for flight operations. Two Triton unmanned aircraft systems are being used to flight test and mature the system for operational use. Ground testing allows the team to further reduce risks associated with control software and subsystems prior to flight.

Northrop Grumman, U.S. Navy Demonstrate Precision, Wireless Ground Handling of X-47B UCAS
