Azerbaijan plans to allocate AZN 1 528 582 000 ($1 947 238 000) for defense expenditures from the next year’s budget. APA reports that it is up 8.6% compared to 2012. AZN 1 407 312 400 was allocated for defense expenses from the state budget in 2012.
