Iranian army ground force plans to deliver more home-made weapons to missile units

The Iranian Army Ground Force plans to further upgrade and reinvigorate its missile units using home-made weapons and equipments, an army commander announced on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Speaking to reporters Lieutenant Commander of the Army Ground Force General Kiomars Heidari said that the Army has already upgraded its missile units, and added that further expansion of the missile units is "top on our agenda" this year. 
Naze'at-10 is a medium-range ballistic missile.

Iranian army to unveil new home-made weapons and armoured personnel carrier during wargames

The Iranian Army plans to unveil and test new domestically-made weapons and military hardware during the upcoming wargames in Central Iran, a senior commander announced. "A number of armored personnel carriers, weapons, sniper rifles, anti-aircraft batteries and missile launchers will be unveiled in the upcoming Beit ol-Moqaddas 25 wargames of the Army's Ground Force," Lieutenant Commander of the Army's Ground Force Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari said on Friday, April 26, 2013.
In February 2013, Iran has unveiled a new version of its home-made main battle tank Zulfiqar.

Iran unveils new drone Sarir H-110 armed with air-to-air missiles during military parade in Tehran

The Iranian Air Defense Force displayed a new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on the occasion of the National Army Day. The new drone, named Sarir (Throne) H-110 , was showcased in the military parades underway at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the Late Imam Khomeini, in Southern Tehran.

Iran unveils latest military equipment during a large military parade in Tehran

The Iranian Army displayed its latest home-made military tools, weapons and equipments in large military parades in Tehran on Thursday, April 18, 2013. The ceremony took place at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the Late Imam Khomeini, in Southern Tehran.
The Shahab-3 has a range of up to 1,250 miles (2,000 kilometers) and is capable of carrying a 1,000-760 kilogram warhead.

Iran ready to unveil new air defense missile systems in the near future

The Iranian Army's Deputy Top Liaison, General Mohammad Hossein Dadras, stressed that Iran enjoys the ability to supply the country's Armed Forces with their needed military tools and equipment without foreign assistance, and added that the country plans to unveil new air defense systems in the near future.

Iranian Army plans to test-fire new anti-chopper man-portable air defence missile system

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iranian army plans to test-fire an indigenous shoulder-launched weapon which can shoot down choppers in the ongoing wargames in Southeastern Iran. The IRGC Ground Force started massive wargames, codenamed Payambar-e Azam 8 (The Great Prophet 8), which include exercising different defense tactics, in Southern Iran on Saturday, February 23, 2013.
Iran has already developed and manufactured several air defense missile systems based on Russian technology.

Iranian home-made Zulfiqar (Zolfaqar) tanks optimized by Iranian Army experts were unveiled by Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan on Monday, February 4, 2013. Iranian Army plans to unveil tomorrow optimized version of its home-made main battle tank Zolfaqar

The Iranian army plans to unveil optimized versions of home-made tanks in a special ceremony due to be held tomorrow. The army of Iran will display an optimized version of Zolfaqar and Samsam tanks on the occasion of the Ten-Day Dawn ceremonies, celebrating the victory of the Islamic Revolution back in 1979.

Iran will unveil new defense equipment during ceremonies celebrating the Islamic Revolution

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi announced that his ministry would display several defense achievements in the next few days. Iranian army will unveil further optimization of its home-made Zolfaqar main battle tank

Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said the Army plans to unveil an optimized version of the home-made Zolfaqar tank in the near future. "The tank's fire control system and stabilizer have been optimized and it will be unveiled by the next two weeks," Pourdastan told reporters in Tehran.
